Reading Notes - Sindbad Part B

(Image taken from Mythology Folklore Blog
The stories of Sindbad seem to pattern off the more I read them. It begins with Sindbad firmly believing in staying at home, as he shows himself content with his life. He will begin all of these stories talking about how the last adventure set him straight, but then gets sucked into yet another journey. The journey almost always involves a mythical creature that he must outwit and barely survive. He then profits off this mythical creature on his return to Baghdad where he promises himself he will ignore all other adventures. The cycle continues.
